I've been a faithful patient to Dr. Christensen for a decade. Even on the busiest days, his team is amazing. Very genuine and pleasurable. They are efficient and knowledgeable. Dr. Christensen has an amazing team. He is very thorough but works at such a steady pace that even on the busiest of days he is personal. I'm not a fan of doctors offices but I feel Such a family atmosphere, even in the larger location downtown. They find a way to be personal!
I am very grateful to Orlando Orthopedic’s for getting me in with Dr. Christensen quickly for my very painful hand injury. He treated me previously for a broken wrist on the other hand, which has healed very well thanks to the care I received. I am also grateful for the wonderful occupational therapy I got for that wrist at Orlando Orthopedic’s as well. I have found the care very professional, and excellent, and it has helped put me on the road to recovery.
Had carpal tunnel surgery, very successful, minimal pain post 2 months, minimal scaring. Looking forward to surgery on my other hand. Staff is also awesome; appointments are on time.
This is my review after 2 appointments with Dr. christensen to consult about an elbow injury. 1st appointment was 2 minutes. Dr. was cold, closed off, said no need to ask questions this is just an examination. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, he at least did his job. 2nd appointment to discuss my MRI images, was also 2 minutes. He explained there was bruising in my elbow bone, but I am clear to go to work. I asked him to clarify his reasoning. Bedside manner was very dismissive. Would not answer any questions. He kept saying he wasn’t going to discuss hypotheticals until all testing was done. Staff very nice and actually were more helpful than the Dr. I needed to get a last minute appointment because of my pain. His schedule showed more availability. Now I see why.
Dr was very cold and closed off. I wouldnt have minded, but it reflected in his standards for communication and evaluation, which was very lacking for a professional. I was in his presence for 2 minutes.No feedback or inquiry. He reread the assistants notes, did a pressure test on my elbow and that was it. he just kept it short and dry and said this is just an evaluation and then showed me the exit. First time to that office and the experience was great staff and Dr. Christensen was very helpful I’m glad I went there
He spent two minutes max checking my hands, never reviewed the X-ray which I'm being charged for and didn't care to hear my concerns. I thought he was harsh and abrupt. I will follow up with another healthcare group
Even though they told me they were running behind when I got there, they still managed to get me in and out in under and hour. They did X rays on sight as well and I was able to see the doc quickly. He was very pleasant. Can’t recommend this place enough. Everyone on staff was super pleasant and Dr. Christensen was very helpful.
