I am an ICU nurse and when i got a call saying my husband was having surgery THE NEXT DAY . My husband was otdered a stat MRI and he called the hospital several times to find out what was found-even after office hours!! . Upoun meeting Dr. Blackwell pre-op all my worries were relieved. A compassionate bedside manner-explained all his concerns in detail and was not in a “RUSH” to leave his bedside until we were satisfied with any questions/issues. Dr Blackburn explained my condition clearly and thoroughly. He presented my treatment options and was compassionate and kind. The only issue I've had is that a prescription was supposed to be called in, but my pharmacy has no record of it. I've called Dr Blackburn's office concerning this issue. I'm still waiting on a response.

Dr Blackburn was recommended by my PCP. I had my 1st appointment with him and right away offered me options regarding my condition. He did not push surgery right off the top. I opted to have surgery, the attention I received was great. I would absolutely recommend his services. My scar looks absolutely awesome!

Dr. Blackburn is the best! He's the kindest, gentlest doctor I have ever seen in my 74 years on this earth. He loves his profession and is extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs an orthopedic surgeon.

I had surgery on my wrist. I had a very good experience with Dr. Blackburn. He explained what was wrong with my wrist, and explained how he was going to fix it. The surgery center was a very relaxing experience, every one explained what was going on. I would not hesitate for one minute to have Dr Blackburn do more surgery if I needed it.
