After an injury in Florida, I returned to my home in Maine. Dr. Blackburn stuck with me through my recovery via virtual appointments as well as if I were in his office. From the initial consultation to the final visit today, Dr. Blackburn was attentive, knowledgeable, courteous and super down-to-earth. He performed my wrist surgery with a bedside manner like I’ve never experienced. I opted for local anesthetic. He and his team made me feel so at ease. How many people can say they’ve laughed during surgery. And, the best part? He did such an awesome job, that if not for the cast, I wouldn’t have known I had surgery. Excellent! Dr Blackburn listened to me, examined my arm, summarized my issues, outlined various protocols, involved me in the treatment plan. Another appointment was not scheduled, treatment began immediately. I left the office in less than 45 minutes with all 4 parts of the 4 part plan already in motion. Very impressed with Dr Blackburn. I felt comfortable and confident in OUR plan. A GREAT experience.
Dr. Blackburn was very nice. He went over everything with me in detail. He explained everything to me in a way that I understood. He took the time with me to answer any questions I had about what was going on with the issue I’m having.
