From the minute I met Dr. Blackburn, I knew I had made the right choice. I had a broken wrist and needed surgery which included a metal plate and screws to be inserted. He was very straightforward with me and explained my injury, the surgery, the rehabilitation and recovery. He managed to schedule me as soon as possible and the surgery went well. He always took time with me for my visits. Three months later, I am back to normal. He will always be my Dr. of choice. Bravo....

Very pleased with the way Dr. Blackburn has treated me as a patient. He has been excellent and very understanding with me. He schedules my appointments on my schedule and he is very cooperative. Dr Blackburn took great care of my 10 year old daughter with her fractured wrist. I loved the fact that he talked to her & asked her questions directly instead of me. He has a fun personality which made the visits enjoyable instead of dreaded like most doctors appointments are. We were in & out within 30 minutes every time! The entire office staff was very helpful & kind also. I definitely recommend Dr Blackburn!

Dr Blackburn did a tendon repair on my left thumb. He and I are extremely pleased with the results after 9 weeks. I would highly recommend Dr Blackburn for his skills, bed side manner, and his concern for his patient. He is the best!!!!

Dr. Blackburn is an amazing Doctor. My son who is 16 broke his arm playing football. Given the fact that he's played for many years, I'm not prone to histrionics, but this particular injury was really bad. I couldn't have asked for a better physician. He took care of my son immediately, and listens to my son's concerns. My son has had an amazing recovery, and I truly believe Dr. Blackburn is the reason for that. I would recommend him to anybody, young or old.

I am very happy with the care I got form Dr. Blackburn and his team. Dr. Blackburn is very Intelligent and professional. I have no doubt he is one of the greatest doctors in Florida.
I broke my hand in 2 places needing surgery. I had no health insurance since I was unemployed. Dr. Blackburn worked with me to set the bone and monitor its healing with no surgery. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable & capable, he really cares about the well-being of his patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Alan Blackburn. He is a Godsend.
Dr. Blackburn is an Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in hand and upper extremities. After suffering from a serious accident in which the end of the right hand thumb was torn off Dr. Blackburn was able to perform reconstructive surgery which included relocation of blood vessels, nerves and skin grafts. Now nine weeks out from the accident have regained almost full use of my right hand and thumb with very little limitations. Thank you Dr. Blackburn for your compassion and skill sets.
