I have been seeing Dr Rubin for a few months after being reluctant to get help. This man is amazing and saved me. So patient and got my moods under control. I can’t express my appreciation for Dr Rubin enough. He is so bright and caring!
He is the mot wonderful caring accepting doctor I have ever met.He has been treating me for year.I highly recommend him.Dr. Rubin has several locations ;Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Garden City.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Rubin for over a year - primarily to better manage my adult ADD. In addition to carefully monitoring my progress with Adderall XR 20mg, he continues to provide me with solid and thoughtful strategies for better handling the juggling act that comes with launching my own business. I especially appreciate his balance of professionalism and affability. And Reva, his assistant, is super helpful with any scheduling and administrative concerns.
From the beginning when I first started seeing Dr. Rubin I felt that he was caring, understanding, and helpful, helps to ease my mind about a lot of things that came up along the time I've been seeing him. Whenever I leave his office I almost always feel that it was a good experience and feel a little lighter. It's not always easy to get to his office but it's great that he has later evening hours if you need them. All in all I'm so glad my friend helped me find him.
Dr. Rubin is a great psychiatrist, knows what I need gets to the point and knows exactly what you need.

I've been seeing Dr Rubin for over a year at least and am pleased with the progress I've made. He's never cancelled or rescheduled an appt. He asks questions and listens. He's interested in how things are changing (good or bad) for you. He's on-time. He listens and doesn't rush the appointments. I don't have any complaints.
I highly recommend Dr. Rubin. He has helped my family for over 20 years.
The worst! He’s cheap as the day is long. I had a medical emergency with my son and had to miss an appointment. He charged me 50 dollars. Then, weeks later, his secretary scheduled me and their office was closed. Not their fault, they say. They’re stuck in the 80s. He writes everything down and has the handwriting of a 2 year old. Good luck getting records. Then they cancelled continuation of appointments under the wrong impression that I was seeing another doctor. Do not use this practice!!!!
