After a year and a half of trying to find the correct treatment, I found Dr. Rubin, and I'm extremely grateful that I did. His intake was efficient, and within an hour we had discussed a care plan and started it. He has been very receptive to listening to my concerns about the future and reassuring and informative. I plan on staying under his care for the future. I would recommend him strongly.
I've been going to Dr. Rubin for about a year at this point, and his care has been excellent. Booking my first appointment was easy, his team got back to me within a day, and was able to schedule me that month. In comparison to other psychiatrists in NY I had tried this was amazing. Ive been seeing Dr. Rubin for a year now and he has been nothing but wonderful. He helped me begin treatment for depression & anxiety for the first time. Not once did he ever push me into taking any medication that I wasn't fully on board with. It truly feels like a partnership and he allows me to decide what I feel is best. Wonderful psychiatrist, asks the right questions, provides great treatment, is kind, and always helpful with his guidance.
Dr. Rubin showed careful, professional and insightful knowledge of pharmacological application and effects. His evaluation was thorough and thoughtful. I found a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. His recommendations were conservative and sensitive to my physical and emotional well being.
Dr. Rubin is very knowledgeable and compassionate. I would absolutely recommend!
Great doctor who I've been seeing for several years. I've been stable for a long time under his care. He's attentive and detailed and listens very carefully. I never feel rushed during our appointments. He gets to know you really well and makes informed decisions re care. He's also very prompt and always on time.
