A true professional, attentive and very knowledgable. I consider myself lucky for finding Dr. Rubin to help me during a difficult time. He is easy to talk to, helpful and a very nice person. I highly recommend Dr. Rubin.
Went to Dr. Rubin for severe depression. Put me on a drug they used in the 50’s - really didn’t do much. What was the tipping point to making me find another doctor was him saying “keep this medication away from your children”. After numerous sessions, I told Dr Rubin that my toddler children were deceased. At that point I realized that I was just a number to him and I was done.
Dr. Rubin is thoughtful and works to balance being responsive to your needs with a stable course of treatment. I've had a successful change working with him and have especially appreciated that he is comfortable writing 3 month prescriptions (once I was stable) to help save time and money on prescriptions and office visits.
Dr. Rubin is the worst mental health professional I have ever met, and since I am a psychologist by trade, I have met many. I happen to suffer from depression, and was referred to Dr. Rubin by my insurer. I am stunned by what I witnessed/experienced. My diagnosis of the good Dr. is that he suffers from borderline personality disorder. I witnessed him engaging in patterns of behavior that are probably sociopathic, or worse. This man should not have a medical license.
I find Dr. Rubin to be helpful and attentive. He spends at least a full 30 minutes with me each time we meet and takes the time needed to provide tailored medical advice. He has also been helpful in troubleshooting regarding various medical conditions not directly related to mental health.
I would highly recommend him!
Dr Rubin listens to you and is an excellent diagnostician. Explains things in terms you can understand. Easy to talk to and makes you feel comfortable. Wonderful physician
Dr. Rubin is a great doctor who is VERY thorough in his work and assessment. He listens to what you say and is extremely helpful in solving your problems through persistance and understanding.
Dr. Rubin is the most kind and gentle doctor I have ever been to. He is a brilliantly educated person who understands psychiatry on a level beyond most psychiatrists today. Dr. Rubin has helped me so much and I am forever greatful! He is always on time & his assistant is amazing at keeping you up to date and on track. 10/10 would recommend
