I had a detached retinal repair done by Dr. Listhaus 40 years ago. I am89 years old and the Dr. I saw today said he did a remarkable job. It hasStood the test of time! Carolyn Shields, Virginia. Dr Listhaus came over to fix me up over his supper hour!
Horrible doctor. Don't ask any questions. He will cancel your future appointments and tell you to go somewhere else.
From my very first visit with Dr. Listhaus (THIRTY years ago!), he was direct about the degree to which he genuinely cares for his patients. Over that time period, we have encountered some hurdles in my care which he responded to heroically. This not only speaks to his being a good doctor professionally, but a great man personally. I trust him implicitly. I love that Dr. Listhaus has been a constant throughout my adult life and pray that never changes. Side note: And I love the bowties! :)
I am 79 yo and have "Wet AMD". Treatment requires 3 monthly injections into the eyeball, which I anticipated with a high degree of anxiety. Dr. Listhaus is expert in every way in administering the injections and his calming "bedside manner". I wouldn't trust anyone else with care for my vision. I admire his collection of bow ties, too.
Visit was very good. Didn't have to wait long. Dr.Listhaus is very professional and pleasant.
Dr Listhaus may have saved my life. I experienced a temporary blindness and he alerted me to contact my GP immediately. His depth of knowledge and friendly demeanor set me on the path to better health.
I have been working with Dr. Listhaus since 2002 as a result of a detached retina in my left eye. The level of care is consistently excellent and his entire staff is friendly and caring. I have total faith in Dr. Listhaus to manage my ongoing retina issues.
I've been a patient of Dr. Listhaus for several years. On my first visit he immediately corrected a retinal tear, and I've had no problems since. He definitely save my sight in that eye. He's very knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and friendly. He takes time to answer questions and give explanations. I definitely recommend him.
