Been going here for eight years. Not because this is innovative pub food. No the food is decent but we go here because it's our neighborhood brewpub. With that said the food is brew pub food it's not innovative but we go because it's family friendly. I have recommended it to many over the years but in the last year service has dropped. Today was fhe final straw Sat night and just six tables full we arrive and are promptly seated and then ignored for more than 15 minutes. In that timeh 2 servers passed our table including t o... read more

Wow, Google Maps came thru for me – wow, i just read the other reviews. did they have a bad cook in the past? i thought it was very good. this is my first review ever. i have not had an extremely bad experience to cause me to write a review, but this truly was such a good experience, i want to share the joy with others. and maybe help debunk the other bad reviews. maybe they were just getting a start? i have no idea their history, i just know their meal was good, menu delightful, and beer very good. i'm in portland on a busi... read more

A great time – For a good chuckle, read the 'Full of kids and rude' review. The reviewer is apparently trying to blame Alameda Brewing Company for the types of dogs that walk by on the sidewalk, and also muses about what type of neighborhood Beaumont Village is. Now, the review: On vacation last week, my girlfriend and I stopped in on a Monday afternoon. We sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly. Since we planned on sampling a couple beers each, we ordered the half pints, but the bartender helpfully suggested that a full... read more

Great food, Nice atmosphere – My husband and I went into the Alameda Brewhouse for the first time recently and I was pleasantly surprised! They have a huge menu, and really great drinks. The only problem was our waitress had B.O. really bad! Would go back, just hoping we don't get the same server.

gone downhill – I have recommended this pub to friends in the past, but have been disappointed in my last visits. Ordered a hamberger medium rare, it came medium/done. I asked to substitute a salad for fries and was charged $3 extra for a very, very small salad. The burger and bread were very dry. However, the beer as always was excellent.

Full of kids and rude – We had the worst dinner experience we could have had. The food was OK, but not great so that didn't make it any better. We wanted to sit outside and the waitress seemed like it was a pain for us to be the only ones out there that she had to wait on. She didn't ask if we needed anything else when she delivered the food so I had to go back inside and ask for some mayo, and when we ordered it was sort of like "what do you want". I'm not sure what the draw of Beaumont Village is, because everyone we encou... read more

My new Fav! – We went to Alameda Brew Pub on a Saturday night. There was a HUGE line of people waiting to be seated. We decided that the Bar was a more appropriate place to sit since there was just 2 of us...and we were hungry. Upon sitting down, we were immediately greeted by a bartender who had asked if we had ever been there before. Since we had not she brought over a listing of their beers and explained them all. We even tried a few before making out selections. Great selection of foods...I had the burger and my boyfrien... read more

You will be sorry. – My son got food poising from the seafood. Their crab bisque is no longer tastey either. This place is way over rated and I don't trust their food or how the kitchen handles it. Don't waste your money!

Would rather eat at Applebee's. – A girlfriend and I decided to stop here on our way to Mademoiselle Noelle's Fortune Tea House since there weren't a lot of dining options in the area. Our experience was sub-par. I would seriously rather eat at Applebee's than this place again. The food is overpriced and lackluster. I ordered a Philly cheese steak. The meat was chewy, the peppers overcooked, the bread soggy, and it came with a side of spaghetti sauce. I think cheese steaks normally come with au jus, but I'm not from Philadel... read more
