We had our furnace and AC replaced recently by Aladdin.Jeff Turowski was very knowledgeable And carefully explained our options.The installers were courteous and answered our questions during installation.After the job was done Jeff came back to check the finish product.We were impressed that he would take time from his busy schedule to come and made sure that everything was OK and asked if we have any questions.We would recommend Aladdin to anybody who needs their furnace and AC replaced.We are very pleased with their work.... read more
Called Aladdin and they were very responsive. Able to show up next day. Minimum charge was stated to be $93 which I found acceptable. Same as a car dealership performing diagnostics. When repair was complete, I was charged the $93 for 10 minutes of diagnostics, then another $147 for a part that would only cost me between $47 and $67 and only took 5 minutes to install. Feel really ripped off. Will not be contacting Aladdin again. Anyone know of a fair heating and cooling company in the Lake Orion area?

We charge the same service call fee of $93 whether it takes us an hour to diagnose a problem or 10 minutes. Unfortunately, there's no way to tell how long it will take a technician to diagnose a problem. Sometimes things are simple, sometimes they're difficult. Thank you so much for the great new system at our house. It has never been so comfortable and I haven't had to use my portable unit in the kitchen at all this year. My family even commented at Thanksgiving that we didn't have hot and cold spots and that it felt much more comfortable. The other night I walked barefoot into the addition and the floor only felt a tiny bit cooler than the rest of the house and we don't even have the heat ducts open all the way in there yet.
