i from ruwanda and a very poor part. i was suprised a hospital in america could be this way. ruwanda took better care of the people. there is no help. you will be alone most of time, no help there. there was boards in window where kids break them. it was sad.

company aceppted my. wife used all the insurance and dismissed her as cured but in ain a very bad condition hosp seems to be saying we did ever thing we knew how,sent her in a catonict cond.very desappointed
Most awful experience imaginable. I took my child here because she was self harming. DO NOT EVER take your child to this facility. They put her in isolation for two days because she was in the same room as someone with the flu. She received no care during this time. She only saw the psychiatrist one time during her very expensive stay, and not the one that was initially assigned to her . They diagnosed her with depression and then put her on a non-FDA approved drug for the diagnosis. Now we are fighting side effects such as ... read more
i was a resident at oak plains academy and it was the best residential facility i was ever in. it had good services and the staff and nurses were wonderful along with the therapist. if you ever needed someone to talk to someone was there for you as soon as they could be there everything about oak plains academy is wonderful i would recomend it to anyone who needed help. i love everyone there and the food was great and in school you could focus.
Most compassionate, and smart doctor I have ever has the pleasure of seeing. She took the time to answer all of my questions and did it with pleasure. I won't have another baby unless I am ensured that she will be my physician.
This facility will take a young patient/persons into their treatment programs claiming that they will educate them to the best of the childs ability. Actually what they do is take them in with lots of promise's, hopes and a bright future to be gained when its actually just juvenile look-down till they are emancipated (18 years old) and then kick them out without a background to futher their education.... Signed: Homeless, lost, lonely and a stigmafied uneducated previous resident!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Highlands is a gem. They helped a family member of mine in her darkest hour and helped her get better. The staff is professional, truly top rate, and know what they are doing. The facility is very clean and well run. The staff cares about the patients and they are committed to these kids. I can't say enough positive about this place. We are blessed to have them in our community.
The best hospital by far. Every staff from the front desk, intake coordinator, Doctor, financial, and or social worker and etc. are compassionate, friendly, extra ordinarily nice. I mean we are dealing with real people here. They are not fake. Also they are very patient. I would recommend this hospital in a heart beat. I would never admit my son into a different facility. They treat him like family here.
