Went for an ultrasound on a Saturday and the tech did not show up. Heard the receptionist call her boss and the call was on speaker. Boss told her to tell me and one other gentelman who was there for an appointment that the tech had been in a car accident. LOL. I told the receptionist it was not her fault and went home. Went BACK for a different ultrasound on a Saturday and was told they did not do ultrasounds on Saturdays. What a poop show.

2nd worst experience at an imaging practice (the 1st being an alllergic rx to the iodine contrast)- here, I was told by Akumin to show up 2 hrs early for the barium alternative, I appeared, then was told it's not an option and to have the physician re-order the CT test. So I show up the 2nd time, and went through the same nonsense- they claimed not to have the new order, which was sent them 4 weeks earlier. Inbetween, I had to get new labs too. I will never go back to an Akumin if avoidable.

Ten minutes early.. Not called for 40 minutes. Was placed in chair 3' in front of MRI door. Now an hour after my scheduled appointment. Tech came out and said 5 more minutes. After 15 minutes I got up to leave.. at the same time they were in the lobby calling my name. How do you not know where your patients are? And it's dreary and dark.

Disorganized office. Mismanaged appointments, missing radiology required preparation like drinking 32 oz of water, make sure the lab sent them results, the physician referral is correct, that you git a mammogram before a breast ultrasound....no worry whatever the problem it is the clients problem not theirs. Nice fantasy life for them but hell for the elderly and ill who are just trying to do what their doctor advised.

I had an appointment in Akumin in the Sunrise office for a CT in Monday, and they call me in Friday to confirm it. In Monday morning, they call me to cancel the appointment because the site was under construction. I went to the office in Plantation and got another appointment for the following Monday, but they kept sending messages to my phone saying that the appointment was cancel. What a beautiful office with very professional, helpful staff. I had to ask for their names just to give a review because they were so amazing! So thank you Deanna, Ashley and Patty for making me feel so comfortable, I truly appreciate it. As for the mammogram, I have had numerous and this one was the least torturous. Lol! I know where I’m going next year for sure. I highly recommend getting your tatas squeezed here. Lol!

If I could give a negative star rating I would! The worst experience that I have ever had with any kind of medical office. They told me that my insurance didn't authorize, when they did. I had to call the insurance while waiting to get my appointment to prove it to them and the Akumin receptionist was incredibly rude to me. I had to wait in a tiny office for nearly two hours to get seen when I had an appointment. There was no social distancing or mask enforcement. The place was disgusting!
