Horrible company, sound like they do not know what are doing. First time i have to schedule my mammogram i was waiting 2 month and it was canceled 3 days before, they said technician is not available. right now, i have to schedule biopsy, they keep me on the phone for 35 min and they said they can't because they do not train for that some other team will contact me to schedule. Also, they can't find my proscription and it was faxed to them 1 week ago

Impolite and abrupt on 3 phone calls, with heavy foreign accents and officious manners. The long faced xray tech later said nothing except where to stand and sit. The xray equipment looked very old. A losers club.

I had a diagnostic mammo and ultrasound in January 2023 at the office in Clearwater, FL. First, and least important, the ultrasound tech missed some images, so when i was driving home, I was asked to turn around so she could complete the exam. From that I needed 2 biopsies. One type of biopsy was not able to be done at Akumin, so i scheduled the other. I ran all over Tampa, looking for a facility to perform both tests at the same time, and finally found was. Teribble wait times! At least if they would have told me it would be a 2 hour wait, I would have left immediately!!

Went for an ultrasound on a Saturday and the tech did not show up. Heard the receptionist call her boss and the call was on speaker. Boss told her to tell me and one other gentelman who was there for an appointment that the tech had been in a car accident. LOL. I told the receptionist it was not her fault and went home. Went BACK for a different ultrasound on a Saturday and was told they did not do ultrasounds on Saturdays. What a poop show.

Disorganized office. Mismanaged appointments, missing radiology required preparation like drinking 32 oz of water, make sure the lab sent them results, the physician referral is correct, that you git a mammogram before a breast ultrasound....no worry whatever the problem it is the clients problem not theirs. Nice fantasy life for them but hell for the elderly and ill who are just trying to do what their doctor advised.

I had an appointment in Akumin in the Sunrise office for a CT in Monday, and they call me in Friday to confirm it. In Monday morning, they call me to cancel the appointment because the site was under construction. I went to the office in Plantation and got another appointment for the following Monday, but they kept sending messages to my phone saying that the appointment was cancel. If I could give a negative star rating I would! The worst experience that I have ever had with any kind of medical office. They told me that my insurance didn't authorize, when they did. I had to call the insurance while waiting to get my appointment to prove it to them and the Akumin receptionist was incredibly rude to me. I had to wait in a tiny office for nearly two hours to get seen when I had an appointment. There was no social distancing or mask enforcement. The place was disgusting!
