Went for an ultrasound on a Saturday and the tech did not show up. Heard the receptionist call her boss and the call was on speaker. Boss told her to tell me and one other gentelman who was there for an appointment that the tech had been in a car accident. LOL. I told the receptionist it was not her fault and went home. Went BACK for a different ultrasound on a Saturday and was told they did not do ultrasounds on Saturdays. What a poop show.

Disorganized office. Mismanaged appointments, missing radiology required preparation like drinking 32 oz of water, make sure the lab sent them results, the physician referral is correct, that you git a mammogram before a breast ultrasound....no worry whatever the problem it is the clients problem not theirs. Nice fantasy life for them but hell for the elderly and ill who are just trying to do what their doctor advised.

I had an appointment in Akumin in the Sunrise office for a CT in Monday, and they call me in Friday to confirm it. In Monday morning, they call me to cancel the appointment because the site was under construction. I went to the office in Plantation and got another appointment for the following Monday, but they kept sending messages to my phone saying that the appointment was cancel. If I could give a negative star rating I would! The worst experience that I have ever had with any kind of medical office. They told me that my insurance didn't authorize, when they did. I had to call the insurance while waiting to get my appointment to prove it to them and the Akumin receptionist was incredibly rude to me. I had to wait in a tiny office for nearly two hours to get seen when I had an appointment. There was no social distancing or mask enforcement. The place was disgusting! Their scheduling department creates one fiasco after another. Even my doctor's office was aware of their horrible reputation. I had to find out the hard way. They refused my scheduled appointment when I arrived, saying it wasn't in the system, and simply would not let me have my prescribed tests done even though I had traveled quite far to get there. You will save time, energy, gas, and aggravation if you schedule your imaging appointment somewhere else, anywhere else. Check other websites for the long list of complaints and... read more

Terrible Corporation which is driven by greed and no sense of loaylatyy or care for it´s customers. Must watch out on their billing as they do overbill you if you are not carefull , they will send the same bill 3 times to be paid in different intervals of time. Last tine I will ever go to this place where employees are talking while at duty not caring about attending waiting customers. Shame on you Akumin in Wellington FL. the Mananger is good for nothing!!!!

Beware of this place!!! With a referral from my primary care physician I tried to schedule an appointment at 2999 NE 191 ST, Aventura. I was told that that location did not have a technician to perform the CT scan. Therefore we scheduled an appointment for 03/30/2021 at 10:15 AM at 400 Arthur Godfrey Road, Miami Beach.
