I had the worst experience possible with *** (said he is the general manager of this store) ... shows the utter lack of customer service on the other staff member's part too. Three weeks after purchasing a refrigerator, it died. I called ******** and they told me to return it to the merchant since it was only 3 weeks old. AHA told me "it's not our problem". After this, they were completely unresponsive. They didn't call back, they didn't answer emails. I reported this to the credit card company. These guys are crooks. I canceled an order for a dish washer immediately after making it due to the delivery time. I noted a month later that they never returned the $1200 they had charged me to my **** account. Only after several back and fourths did they return the money to my account.
The worst experience ever the salesman told me that fridge raider would fit, when the movers got there they told me I had to remove my porch light and they could not wait for me to remove the light, so they took the fridge back , I got my money back and bought a refrigerator freezer from Home Depot they took the doors off and it went right in, airport appliance movers don’t know what they are doing!!!!
I am sorry I didn't read the BBB reviews before I chose to do business with AHA. If I had, I never would have purchased my appliance from this company. On October 21, 2020 I purchased a microwave/oven combo for nearly $4,000 and was told it would take a couple of weeks to get in. It was only today, almost 4 months later, when it was finally installed to the tune of an additional $280. After shopping here for over twenty years we have this warning: stay away. Like the others we strive to shop local. Non-existent managers , always "at lunch" ( at 10:00) or " in meetings" work for a regional manager more interested in having salespeople hustle our money than getting $10,000 worth of appliances properly delivered and installed. ***** ***** lost a customer for Airport Home Appliance with his rude behavior after being faced with his own mistake. I brought a refrigerator at Emeryville location on 12/19/20 and delivered on 12/22/20. Here is a problem with the refrigerator The rubber sealed around the freezer door is not in the right place. It does not seal properly. This is much more than cosmetic damage. This is functional and need to be replaced (see attached picture). AHA does not stand behind their mission and value statement of offering “outstanding customer service”. Once they receive your money, them resolving any issues let alone replying to your emails or phone calls is like getting orange juice out of a lemon!!!
