I have been using AC by Jay for years - servicing my unit twice a year. They are very professional. I receive a text when they are on their way with a photo of the technician. Very important for safety reasons. My 17 year old air conditioning unit died in the middle of a hot summer. The repair technician was very professional in diagnosing the problem. We've used AC by J for more than 30 years for our air conditioning & heating; very satisfied. This was the first time for using their plumbing service. I called because the water heater was old. The technician McKinley checked out every fixture in our house, and offered options for new types of water heaters. Professional, competent.

Technicians are usually well trained. Calling office generally results in pleasant,helpful people. The reason I have given them a low rating is that they consistently come to me after having done a routine maintenance, they all look very somber, looking at the ground ( here it comes thinks this customer) and it always results in something that is a problem in their estimation which will cost me somewhere between $75 and $11,000. Josh did a great job. He showed up in a timely manner, in uniform following the proper protocols for health safety by wearing gloves and mask and booties. His assessment and explanation of the problem were quick and thorough. He even upgraded the thermostat that needed to be replaced. He also cleaned up after himself before he left. The only reason it's not a 5 star rating is we haven't received the emailed invoice as promised even though are bill has been paid.

A/C emergency late Saturday evening. AC by J was at our home on Sunday. Everything fixed in one hour. Jason was professional and knowledgeable. He also wore a mask!!!

A couple weeks ago AC by J installed a new AC unit for me and today I had them out for my first annual whole home inspection and water heater service. McKinley was very courteous, professional and thorough. We discussed different water treatment options due to my hard water problem and he was a huge help in deciding what would be best for me. They really do treat you like family and I would not hesitate to recommend AC by J .
