The French toast is amazing!! You can actually taste the crunchy caramel in the batter!!
I love Aimee's all around. I'm working on trying everything on their menu. Great food, good service, friendly staff and I've seen them fix breakfast for some folks who wander in. Generosity grows a business.
Egg was good; coffee not so much! I enjoyed the company & the atmosphere.
The only place in Lawrence that hasn't fallen prey to the "Chain," of big restaurant franchise mentality in Lawrence. You can still get great food here. I particularly like the breakfasts menu. Always fun and laid back. Filled with interesting people and you can actually have a conversation here with a stranger. Can't even put into words how much I miss this place and the Strong family.
I'm only in Lawrence about once every two years but I always make a point to have breakfast at Aimee's Coffeehouse when I'm there. Usually, I bring a family member for their first visit and they love the experience as well. Try it. Love it. Make it a habit. ;-)
