My visit (3/17/23) Time: 10:50 a.m. My visit was traumatic I was called (crazy) by Dr. O. Dr. O stated I am a surgeon. I asked did I waste my time coming here? And he said "actually, yes" I can t help you go back to your PA . Even though the appointment was made in advance from a referral in system no one knew why I was there. Again I repeated I fell bruised both knees, shoulder, chin and cut my thumb . All the records from Medstar Urgent care treatment I received was in the records which didn't appear they read. I am a first time client and I like that Dr. Onyike listened to my presenting complaints and was very professional in explaining his proposed course of action and possible diagnosis.
Just had total knee replacement on my right knee yesterday. I type this from my hospital chair. Dr Onyike is the very best of the best. I’ve been dealing with many orthopedist in this area for years and I would only recommend Dr. Onyike. My husband had his knee replace by Dr Onyike a couple years ago and it was a perfect experience. I have seen Dr O twice now and am very pleased. As a doctor myself I can say I find his exams more complete than other orthopedists I have seen-when I got to see them at all as often it was their PA. His discussion of the problem and plans are complete and well explained. The office staff is good as well and getting an appointment has been quick and convenient. I highly recommend him
Dr. Onyike looked at my xrays that I brough to him and he know right away what my problem was. He gave me meds. that have helped the pain greatly.
Dr. Onyike really helped me when I needed a knee replacement do over as I called it. My knee was in really bad shape after I fell and broke a few things. He had a plan right away on how to fix it. I was so mad at myself for causing the problem. I just wanted to cuss. He was so calm and that smile of his is enough to make me feel better.
