BAD VET BAD !!! A great vet! I highly recommend this veterinarian. He is friendly and does not rush you through the the appointment. He seems to genuinely like and care about animals. There is even a resident cat who lives in the office. I believe it is a stray the doctor took in. Dr. Guntly gave me a lot of help and advice when I was having trouble domesticating a stray cat.

Don't waste your time Guntly is a strange fellow that tries to make jokes during consultations and wastes valuable time during your 15 minute visit. The front desk lacks customer service skills and they obviously hate their job and are underpaid. I called to check on my dog after a neuter and you could feel the annoyance in the secretary's voice from my call. On a different occurance my dog was seen for a rash that no one could figure out. Needs Emergency services I have very mixed feelings about this place. I live in town and brought both my cat and my dog here for basic services, like rabbies,spading etc.. I never felt like they were overly friendly behind the counter.When my cat had a big gouge over his eye, I brought her there because that is the only place I have ever been, they would not treat her becasue her rabbis shots were not up to date. Pat S. We started taking our Yorkie to Dr. Guntly when she was 8 weeks old. Had all her physicals, shots, medicines and had her spayed there. Yesterday 2/09/2010, I called the office with an emergency for my dog (she was bleeding heavily from her rectum)and even though he was in the office, he wouldn't take the extra time to see me and told me to seek emergency services. Agawam Animal Hospital is Clueless Diagnosed my cat as possibly being rabid! After professional evaluation at another clinic, it was determined she had a brain tumor and sadly, we put her to sleep. What an awful thing for a Vet to do to a pet owner. Unprofessional waste of good office space. If I could have chosen NO stars, I would have. Save your pet and go elsewhere.
Great This is a great vets office. The doctor is extremely nice and willing to spend time explaining anything to you. I never feel rushed in and out. All the vet techs are very friendly as well. The prices are very reasonable, especially for routine visits. I remember when i had my kitten spayed i was pleasantly surprised at the cost. They can usually get you a pretty quick appt for a sick visit as well. I would definitely recommend.
