I'm so sad to leave this review.. I've been coming here for years that's why I'm leaving two stars as opposed to one. Coming from someone who has worked as a server for 4 years I'm VERY disappointed in the service I received. My food came out cold. I'm not talking room temperature I'm talking actually COLD. Service was awesome. The food was not as up to par as usual, but that happens. The outdoor chairs cld use an update but neither of these things will keep me away.
Really great place! Food and atmosphere is really pleasant. Only gripe is that if you come often enough the food is never changing so it gets old but is good food so it isn't that big a deal.

I have always been pleased the Times I went until the last one. The salad wasn't good like before. Our orders included their thick fries which were excellent in the past. He didn't have mine when the food arrived so we asked. He brought out something that resembled leftover cold waffle fries from another restaurant. One of the best ribeyes I have ever eaten. Great place to start out date night.
Always a wonderful experience! Great staff and great food! My favorite, philly cheese steak with homemade chips, and you have to try the cookie skillet! But the best part of going to the Afton Tavern is the live music on the patio. Nothing like having dinner, drinks, socializing and listening to great live music by Brittney Lee Pasquale and Chad Harris, come check them out. Nice place for a meal - would like to see them update the place inside and on patio - update the menu - bar area pretty nice Only negative is most times they serve salad on a warm plate - maybe purchase more plates
I ordered a steak and forgot to tell them I was allergic to butter. They put my steak on the house. They shouldn't have done i Alyssa and the manager jojo are the best. Thanks for everything they did. Great food
