I had a hernia repair. A large hernia. Dr Afshari did a fantastic job. He and his staff were attentive and easy to work with. I'm very satisfied and highly recommend.
Dr, Afshari is professional & personable. The office staff are terrific. Being a nurse, I look for a doctor who is outstanding in his field. He noticed my enlarged thyroid when I took my mom in for a hernia repair consult. He is so observant. After years of difficulty swallowing & my endocrinologist ignoring it. I had my thyroidectomy done by Dr. Afshari. It was grossly enlarged with multiple nodules, one pressing on my esophagus. My scar on my neck is barely noticeable. Amazing surgical work.
I had my lumpectomy surgery March 2, 2018 and today, March 31, 2018 I feel great. My surgery, although a little scary, Dr. Afshari made me feel safe. His knowledge helped me understand that this disease, cancer, was not as big as my mind led me to believe. I am so thankful God placed Dr. Afshari in my path of healing. The surgery went so well, my husband now allows me to conduct breast exams on him; who would have guessed. Dr. Ashari thank you for helping me to live longer. Cancer Survivor!

Dr. Afshari is a highly talented surgeon and a wonderful human being. You can tell how much he cares about his patients. He did such a good job on my lumpectomy, it doesn't look like I had breast surgery at all. If you have breast cancer, this is the guy you want operating on you.
Dr.Afshari truly cares about his patients. He is clear and answers all questions to satisfaction. I trust that he will take care of me. Several of my friends are patients as well. . All are completely satisfied !!
Dr Afshari is the physician that we all hope for but hardly ever meet. His approach to medicine is as much art as it is science. He took the time to explain every aspect of a gall bladder removal I badly needed. He read AND explained every line of the imaging and lab reports to me. His attention to detail and caring manner was very comforting. The Office Manager, Colleen, is wonderful and provided a level of service rarely found in todays world of medicine.
I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and was referred to Dr. Afshari. I was scared and extremely nervous upon meeting him for the first time. He immediately put me at ease and explained what was happening to my body and what he could do to help. His bedside manner is exceptional. He was very professional, yet light hearted. He put not only me at ease, but he won over my significant other as well as my parents. I would highly recommend him.
