Very accessible to answer and explain all procedures including follow up visits. SErvice in office and hospital were excellent and friendly
He's the GOAT (Greatest of all time)! Finally a doctor that speaks directly with his patients. I used him because my family used him and after speaking with every nurse who knew him raves about the success he has with all his patients.

If you have ADHD or another condition where are you have short-term memory loss, do you not go to this doctor! He was very blunt and would not let me think of my doctor’s last name. Then he changes to trying to find what has been giving me issues, I have an ultrasound that shows what it is, and he said because he can’t feel it he can’t do anything for it. It has been causing me severe pain for the last two weeks since I have gotten over cellulitis near that area.
The compassion this physician displayed was extraordinary. His candid explanation about my ex-current condition was amazing, astonishing, astounding, fabulous, fantastic and in final superb. Dr Afshari, calmed my family during the initial interview right through pre-op and post op. I had a partial mastectomy to remove what was then determined DCIS of my breast and now according to the final pathology report, benign issue. Honest discussion whether it would hurt or not at least it was truth!
Dr. Afshari: Most people think of surgeons as having a hard and cold demeanor,......but, NOT my surgeon! He has a warm, compassionate feeling for his patients. After my surgery, he left me with no pain, and no scar! He is par-excellence in his element, and I can thoughtfully say,.......there is none other like him.
The day my Oncologist gave me the diagnoses I refused to accept it. Instead of immediately meeting with Dr. Afshari, I went home and decided not to address the situation at all. Dr. Afshari and his staff cared so much, they convinced me to come in and stayed after normal office hours to meet with me and assure me that the procedure would be successful. Three weeks out, I am returning to work and I feel amazing. The recovery has even better than promised. Thank You Dr. Afshari and staff.
Following a malignant breast tumor diagnosis, I was referred to Dr. Afshari for treatment. Dr. Afshari patiently and thoroughly went over my diagnosis and our treatment plan. He scheduled me for surgery within three days of my initial visit. From our initial visit through the surgery and into the follow-up care, Dr. Afshari and his team have been nothing but compassionate and professional care providers. I feel extremely fortunate that I was referred to Dr. Afshari.
