I had a cyst removed from my back. Dr. Afshari and his staff were phenomenal!
Open Fundoplication. Wish I was told more about the surgery pain, morphine fog, and severity of the scar. I got most education from u-tube. Glad I was encouraged to have someone with me at home for aftercare because I was still very loopy. Wish doctor waited & listened more to my questions then steering me right out of his office. Support staff at office and aids at HCA were great.
Dr. Afshari came highly recommended by my primary care physician for surgery due to his vast successful experience. I had a giant lipoma that needed to be removed and was challenging since it was intramuscular and deep within my gluteus maximus and minimus muscles. My experience in all facets was fantastic! My Sister who has had many challenges in her lifetime was referred to Dr Afshari for breast surgery. He was informative compassionate and kind. He took the time to address a separate concern that has impacted her quality of life. The office staff were very professional and displayed genuine concern for my sisters well being. I had a growth in my right forearm that turned out to be a lipoma. I was referred to Dr. Afshari. He quickly diagnosed the problem but also had an MRI done to see the depth of the lipoma. I had a surgical appointment in no time at all. He performed the surgery to remove the lipoma. It was done beautifully. I could not be happier. Dr. Afshari answered all of my questions and was clear and precise with what the procedure entailed. His office staff was professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend Dr. Afshari!
Dr. Afshari saw me for a consultation and was extremely helpful in getting me set up for a successful surgery. Himself and his staff are very positive, kind and have made every visit enjoyable. He was very resourceful before and after the surgery; him and his team provided me with exactly what I needed to have a successful procedure and recovery. I highly recommend him and his staff. Seriously, they were one of the best medical experiences I've ever had.
