My Nephrologist contacted Dr. Afshari on a Monday and I was seen in the office on Tuesday. I was welcome by the nicest staff when I arrived at office. I was seen by the kindness, caring and knowledgeable Doctors I've seen. My Thyroidectomy and Parathyroidectomy were explained extremely well by Dr.Afshari. I would recommend Dr. Afshari for any surgery need. Extremely caring, nice, knowledgeable and explains thoroughly.Wonderful surgeon with great office staff.
Dr. Afshari explained in detail why my gallbladder needed to be removed and I appreciated the directness. He is personable. The staff was very patient to answer all my questions.
Dr. Afshari was awesome. He tells it like it is and I felt extremely comfortable with him. I would highly recommend him for any treatment. Very professional and his office staff is attentive and follows up well.
Dr. Afshari skill and knowledge is amazing. I am currently two weeks into recovery from a Thyroidectomy and mass removal. When you are his patient his focus is on you and your condition. His staff is also very helpful and responsive as is Dr. Afshari. They provide excellent service with kindness and a smile.
Clear explanations, very little waiting, did a great job on my hernia (I was back to playing tennis and cycling in a couple weeks), no surprises in the procedure, billing or follow up and he has a great sense of humor. Oh and the folks in his office are both efficient and a hoot.

He eased my fears for me as I had a lumpectomy. It was my first surgery ever. He and his staff are professional and kind. Dr. Afshari is confident about his abilities to save lives. He is a wonderful surgeon. I am glad my gynecologist told me about him.
Dr. Afshari is very thorough and did wonderful in removing my thyroid. Very pleased with doctor and helpful office staff. Definitely recommend!
