Following a malignant breast tumor diagnosis, I was referred to Dr. Afshari for treatment. Dr. Afshari patiently and thoroughly went over my diagnosis and our treatment plan. He scheduled me for surgery within three days of my initial visit. From our initial visit through the surgery and into the follow-up care, Dr. Afshari and his team have been nothing but compassionate and professional care providers. I feel extremely fortunate that I was referred to Dr. Afshari.
Dr. Afshari was the most caring doctor I have ever had to treat me. He assured me things would be alright and they were. He removed a cancerous tumor from my breast and also checked lymph nodes for cancer. He was very professional and caring at all times.
I was diagnosed with diverticulitis, colon blockage, bladder issue, fistula connecting the colon to the bladder and a hernia. DR. Afshari reviewed all the medical data from the GI specialist, the Urologist specialist and requested additional test that he would need to evaluate the best approach for my major surgery. When he first met me and looked at my mental and physical state, he looked into my eyes and said " I am going to fix you". He did just that.
Dr. Afshari was a wonderful surgeon and a real comfort to my husband and I after my recent diagnosis of breast cancer. He was open, honest, optimistic and down right funny at times. His office staff is amazing - always prompt and answering phone calls, requests and any type of questions.
Dr. Afshari is a wonderful surgeon. I had breast surgery and he was very assuring and caring. I would recommend him to anyone needing surgery.

Dr. Afshari and his practice staff are an amazing group! They are very knowledgeable, call when they say they will and answered every question about the surgery I had...a solo practitioner and a dying breed, you'll be in excellet hands with this surgeon!
Dr Afshari is one of the kindest and caring surgeons. He eased my fears immediately and made sure I was completely comfortable with the decisions made from the first appointment to post op. His staff was very helpful and answered the million question I had leading up to surgery. I can't say enough about Dr. Afshari.
My hernia surgery was scheduled and performed without a hitch, Dr Afshari is one of the most caring and thoughtful doctors I have ever met. When you find a doctor who listens and explains all your questions you have a keeper. I am 71 and have met a lot of doctors, Dr Afsari is a 10.
