This place is awesome and we cannot wait to go back! We loved the drive thru area to feed all the animals and even the walk thru area was awesome!

So sad. Animals on nothing more than dirt and stones. No green space whatsoever. No shade to be had anywhere. There are only steel containers baking in the sun for the animals to go in. And...only a few of them for what they are worth. The kangaroo didn’t want to go into an enclosure so they dragged it by its tail over stones and dirt to put it in. Was sickening. The girl there told me that obviously I had never been in Africa because they don’t have trees and grass in the desert. There are soooo many baby deer, they are bre... read more

Hi Jane, Thank you taking the time to write a review. In our Drive-Thru Safari, we have over 15 shade structures NOT including the containers you saw. These are the taller, wooden shade shelters the animals will lay under. We also provide the animals with over 9 different large ponds, which all of them love to swim in on a hot day to cool off. We are an Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA) and a Zoological Association of America (ZAA) accredited Zoo - which means we are inspected on a yearly basis by these institutions as w... read more
We went here on may 30th. It was awesome!! We almost didn’t go due to other reviews from other sites due to car damage and unhealthy animals but decided to anyway. Glad we did. The animals are very healthy and young so I’m assuming someone was mad so tried to ruin the place with false claims. The damage to the car is at your own risk and doesn’t take much common sense to know that but we had no damage. I seen people complain for over priced feed but that to is far from true.
