We enjoy going once a Summer. I would go more if the price was cheaper but once is pretty awesome too. I love the hi-lander's and the bison.
Amazing park, all of the animals are great !!!!!!!!!
We took our 3 grandchildren (ages 8-5) and we all had a blast! We haven’t been anywhere like this with so many close -up encounters! The walking safari was in the shade and we enjoyed the kangaroos the best because one of the females had a Joey in her pouch with it partially visible. Our grandkids didn’t want to leave the exhibit because they were sure it would emerge from the pouch soon! Feeding the parakeets on sticks, let’s them perch on the stick or your arm. As far as the hooved animals go...they seem very well fed and happy. The birds however, especially the macaws are not given any enrichment items. Macaws are very intelligent and need special care. A happy healthy macaw is a loud and social macaw...the ones in this facility are silent and sad. As a macaw owner this was very sad to see. When my wife voiced concern it fell upon deaf ears....

We do appreciate your concerns for our animals, specifically the macaws found in the Walk-Thru. We do have an extensive enrichment program for all animals at the Park, and all macaws receive enrichment 3-5 times a week under the 5 Enrichment Categories: Social, Cognitive, Physical, Sensory, and Food.
