No one ever wants to take their pet to the ER, but if you must I will choose these folks everyday. Kind and compassionate, and honestly reasonably priced.
Thank you Dr. Barton. Having to put our best friend to sleep was by far one of the hardest things we've had to do. I just wanted to say thank you for being so kind and caring and honest, knowing how hard our decision was. We know she is no longer suffering and was in great hands. Chihuahua mother of three - my only girl was hit by a car so I brought her here on a Wednesday night and they were so attentive and really made us feel like we were in good hands! We saw Dr. Timberlake and she was just awesome!! If you find yourself looking to take your pet somewhere incase of emergency this is where you want to go!
Thank you to Dr. Knight and staff for taking care of Brooke Elise, my tiny little Shih tzu, yesterday! I've recommended AVECJax to friends for many years but never needed them myself until yesterday. I drove an extra 30 minutes go to this ER instead of a closer one and I'm so glad that I did.
Had to bring my dog here (2nd dog I've brought here...1st was from a water mocosin bite) for a reaction to something biting him. Face swollen and Momma scared. Dr. Barton and the entire staff was very nice but even more so...on top of it the minute I walked in. I will not go anywhere else. They saved my dog Gator from a bad snake bit and took care of Riley on the 4th of July. Best place in Jacksonville! Thank you guys for being here to help our babies in an emervency.
My sister brought her sweet dog in there for a $6000 surgery and he didn't survive the surgery and you guys have the nerve to call her this morning asking for another $573. Shame on you. You people are heartless criminals and I hope karma prevails

I spoke to another friend/family member of yours that confirmed that it was not us (the emergency clinic) that your sisters pet came to. We are located on Southside blvd. But there are 2 other clinics located next to us that we are not affiliated with. Like I told her, I am so sorry for your loss, but that dog did not have surgery at our facility.
I want to say "Thank You!" to the staff and Dr Barton for the kindness, treatment and considerate care of my daughters (Kristina) pup of 14 years. We were fortunate to find you in our time of need in the middle of the night. The kindness shown during my daughters stress and pain can never be repaid, no one wants to do what she had to do to ease her pups suffering.
