12:30 appointment for COVID test. Arrived at 12:15 for check-in and was asked to wait in my car to be called. 1:00 came and I had not been called and was quiet hot from having to wait in my car, so I phoned. Was told I was next in line but all rooms were currently full. Even though their website and message on their phone when you call specifically says, “We are now offering the Abbott ID Now rapid molecular COVID-19 test with results in just 15 minutes! Tests are available to all patients, no appointment required.“, this is not true!! My family was just told we were exposed at my son’s funeral in Knoxville and I am immunocompromised.
