Day Spa Package My daughter and I went here last week for the âSpa Dayâ. It was fantastic! First our esthetician student greeted us and we had some paperwork to fill out then she took us to the room where they do their facials. She looked at our skin through some magnifier then her teacher came in to do a consultation and asked us questions about our skin. Jane K What a find! I have been to other schools for services before and not had the best experience. What a difference this place is. I was in the area so I figured I would go in to see what it was like. When I went in I was greeted by a very nice staff (I think) person. When I told her of my past visits to other schools she took me thru the entire school to show me the areas where the services were performed. Manicurist I attended this school and had a good experience. The staff was very good to me and I was good to them. I enjoyed my time there and did learn a lot. Most of these negative reviews that I read are probably from spoiled kids who want something for nothing. In life you only get something out of what you put into it. Who cares its not froufrou at these prices? The students are great and really are trying to do their best and learn, so you aren't getting any bored tired of their job types! Sure, its not like a ritzy spa, but really, when you want a wax, are you really paying to listen to music and relax? Nooo because having your hair ripped out is never relaxing!!! Can't beat the prices I've been to the ABC Skin College for three types of services: waxing, manicure/acrylics, and pedicure. Each time I have had very nice students preforming the service on me. The prices are unbeatable! $5 for eyebrow waxing! $20 for manicure! $20 for a pedicure! I even had pariffen given complimentary...it's only a couple bucks extra! Not a great learning experience! If you want to get your nails and skin stuff done its good for the students, but to learn there dont go. I went to school there for nails and I wasn't happy! There are only two teachers at the school, one at night and one during the day. Most of the time they are in their room not supervising their students so we don't know if what we do is right or wrong. If you want to learn something you have to ask them yourself. fantastic education I recently graduated from Aesthetics Northwest. I found the experience absolutely wonderful. The instructors were very knowledgeable and helpful. They were always ready to answer any questions we had. Being a registered nurse and having worked in the medical field for 20 years I still found the experience very enlightening and uplifting. STAY AWAY!!! I totally agree with both Anonymous' review down below. I was a nail/skin student there and I regretted attending this school so much! As a nail student, I had to buy my own products to use on the clients a lot. As a skin student, there was never enough product to use on clients so we had to constantly ask instructors or fight with other students performing services on clients.
