He's an average doctor, overall. – He shook my hand because I made the first move for the handshake-so I don't know about how he usually greets his patients. He seemed nice when he greeted me. He asked quite a few questions...I agree with the other review...he did not explain the perscriptions to me. And when I asked him questions about them he answered vaguely. Spent no time/effort to know my condition – No smile, no handshake. Asked me only 3 questions. One of which was if he had seen me before. And he had my new patient form in his hand. He cut me off, didn't want to listen to my symptoms. Put me under the light for a second and he didn't even notice that I had a huge stye on my eyelid, which was one of my concerns. Highly Recommended – Dr. Tannenbaum took a lot of time and care in treating me. I went in for an overall skin check-up and evaluation. He found several moles that were pre-cancerous that needed to be attended to. He was very patient, thorough and explained everything in great detail to me. I will return to see him for follow up appointments as well as recommed him to friends and family. Very impressed.
not too impressive – i went to dr. tannenbaum (daly city location) because a friend recommended him highly. i have been suffering with excezema my whole life, and since i have been pregnant it has been awful. well, the first day i saw only his assistant, (i don't think she's a trained dr. ) who spent the total of 3 minutes with me. she hardly looked at my skin, and then prescribed a very strong steriod, which i found out later is dangerous in pregnancy.
