I received a gift certificate at – This is a follow up to my initial review. Please read that and realize I have filed a BBB complaint asking for a refund. I was told they do not give refunds, but read the email I received from the owner and you will see that is not true. My continued complaint is regarding their lack of customer service. I have had many experiences at Aequis over the years and I love them :) Every time it has been a wonderful, relaxing, experience. With staff that gives fantastic, sincere and knowledgeable service. I have experienced a slightly harder time getting in since the groupons have run, but it is the same for all smaller businesses that do those coupon things. I think Aequis still has it and is one of the best spas I have ever been to :)
I think the good reviews may be written by an inside source. It isn't a good place, don't waste your time or money.
I left a message every day for the last four days on the Aequis voicemail to see about making an appointment. Today still no return phone call. So I called them again and the girl just told me "We are really busy this time of year" I informed her I am a business owner myself and if my staff didn't return phone calls and told me because they are busy... Cannot get appointment until mid-late Dec?!?!!? – I just tried to make an appointment for the groupon i got for couples massage. I cannot get appointment til Dec?!?!? I used to love this place at their old location, but am not impressed that i have to wait til Dec because they offer groupon discount which they cannot support in timely manner.
