Aegis Hospice was a terrible Hospice company. They put one of our residents at our facility on Hospice 2 months ago when she didn't have any Medicare benefits left and did not have a terminal diagnosis. They said they could use some of their other residents Medicare benefits to cover our resident's benefits who already exhausted all of them because she was with at least 2 other Hospice companies previously..We believe it's possible this company is engaging in Medicare fraud. I have been extremely impressed with Aegis Hospice Care. They have consistently been prompt to respond and available when I need. The clinical team exceeded all my expectations with my father and I was very pleased. I highly recommend this place for any hospice or palliative needs.
