Negative. Says he cares, 'acts' like he cares. Nope. Wife, ditto. Not easy to see through at first.
Dr Adu always spends a lot of time answering my questions and his wife is very helpful when I need an appt right away, that doesn’t happen in a lot of Dr offices.
Been going to him for a few years and he and his staff have always done everything possible to help me get the treatment I needed for long term results and not just give the band aide fix
I am a student and I have ADHD. I needed ADHD medication prescribed to me for this month (July 2023) urgently. I had called his office continuously for a week (07/17) and left a voicemail. Since I was not receiving any callback and was on the last few medications, I had to reach my primary care provider to help me out. Also, his wife is very rude and inconsiderate. Every time I went there, had bad experiences with her. Absolutely dislike her.
I can't get in touch with them. Tried off and on for three weeks. Only voicemail. Went by at 3:15 and doors were locked. Need refills only but no response
I was a patient for about 4 months while I was in college to get prescribed medication for my ADHD. The good thing about this office was that it was convenient: the appointments themselves were very short and the office was close to where I lived. A recommendation indeed: For 4.5 out 5 people I know. For an office of two professionals, the Dr and his wife, they have accommodated me in the full gaumet of issues with insurance, transportation and scheduling at a level of personal care and competencey that a fully staffed psychiatric facility office of 5 to 10 could never do. Calm, courteous and experienced, the Adu team gets the job done in a time when help is often too distant a phone call isn't enough but often is all that is needed. Cheers!
Dr. Adu is a terrible physician who should have his licensed revoked. He doesn't listen to his patients during their 3.5 minute appointment but simply writes enough to get by and cover himself if he were sued. He rushes you in and out and sometimes even forgets who you are (ie been asked what I am doing with my life 5 times... he should know from the records that I am a working lawyer). He doesn't take the time to listen to your concerns. His waiting room is always filled with riff raff addicts, he is always running late. Hi... read more
i have been seeing him for years. love the staff and he is an amazing doctor. i am not exaggerating when i say this, but he literally saved my life. i was on a very dangerous path and i would not have the life i have now if i never started treatment with him.
