First of all i would like to say how great the customer service is at Adams Optics. It was so easy to find the perfect pair of glasses for myself thanks to the wonderful sweet staff. Jim Adams is a great man and very helpful when picking out glasses. I RECOMMEND Adams Optics 100 percent when buying glasses.
My uncle was in a terrible auto accident that broke his back, leaving him hospitalized. His glasses were basically destroyed, so not only was he stuck in a room in horendous pain, but he couldnt see. We found what remained of his glasses and the place he got them from would not replace them unless he came in (not an option obviously) I went all over Athens trying desperatly to get him some glasses. The customer service there is awesome! Adams Optics is outstanding with an amazing assortment of beautiful frames. This has been and will remain the only place I go for my glasses.
Hands down, the best glasses shopping experience I've ever had. Absolutely fantastic customer service, everyone was incredibly personable, friendly and passionate about making sure I found frames I loved. I came in expecting to get one pair of glasses and left with four! Adams Optics had so many choices that all fit the style that i wanted, and I was able to get four frames plus lens for the price of one frame at other more mainstream stores. I love new glasses from Adams Optics. They don't tell you when you buy them that if you lose them you can buy a new pair from them over the phone and just pick them up when they come in. But thankfully they did just that because we have been slammed at work. They even made my reading part of my progressive lenses stronger at no extra charge. You can try to cheap it out at the big box stores but I would rather pay a little more and get a quality product from a local merchant who really appreciates my business...

I am thrilled with this place! I broke the arm of my glasses and since my prescription is really strong and my lenses were special ordered, I was super worried I would have to wait 3 weeks or more for new glasses! Jim helped me walk out of there within 30 minutes with new frames and my own lenses for waaaay less than I imagined! Absolutely will be getting my glasses here always!!
