Dr. Ackerman is someone I’ve been going to see for over four years now. In my time seeing him both my posture and knowledge of the body have greatly improved. I’m now able to minimize injury in the gym, sports and everyday life. Before I stared going to see Dr. Ackerman I was a bit hesitant of chiropractic care, but he has since changed my mind completely. I highly recommend Dr. Ackerman to friends and family.
I’ve been going to active for over a year and a half now. My friends introduced me to Dr. Ackerman during the peak of my knee injury. I later found out that he had treated my mom and my brother! We discovered that I was flat footed which caused a lot of pressure on my knees so the torn ligament wasn’t healing properly. With time and commitment I started feeling a lot better. I’ve been seeing Dr. Ackerman for a while now to help with my hips being misaligned after years of mixed martial arts and distance running. Not only has he completely got them back aligned but every week I’m going in with a new issue he seems to fix, the latest being my shoulder. Dr. Ackerman is extremely knowledge and will take his time to get to you know and how to best assist. I started seeing Dr. Ackerman and The Active Team when I couldn't walk for even short distances without debilitating pain in my left leg. It was so bad that I had to cancel a cruise. After x-rays and an exam, Dr. A found my problem and started a course of treatment. He did his Chiropractic adjustments in addition to teaching me stretches and exercises for my lower back.
