I hired Tom after interviewing a few companies regarding my existing two-tiered pond with waterfall that had become overgrown with algae and a maintenance nightmare. Most companies offered a maintenance program to clean periodically as the solution, but Tom offered a solution that required limited maintenance. I cannot rave enough about Tom and his talented crew that created a backyard paradise for me (and my goldfish!) on my teeny patio. They were a pleasure to have working at my home and I am totally thrilled with their finished product! I would not hesitate to recommend Acorn Ponds and Waterfalls. Top notch!

Tom recently completed a patio for me and it turned out fabulous, expanding the space making it much larger. He has creative ideas but also willing to work with what you want and can afford. I was most impressed by the fact that he and another worked did all of the work. They were there on time everyday except when raining and worked until late afternoon even when it was 90 degrees outside. He took his time and did it right; I'd consider him an "artist" within his profession. 5 Stars for sure! Donna

Tom did an excellent job landscaping my backyard a few years ago. He designed a great landscape with patio, water feature and blooming plants. It is now fully mature and looks great. He tends to it annually and keeps it looking fabulous. I appreciate his attention to detail and professionalism. Thank you Tom for creating a peaceful place in my back yard for my nieces and nephews to enjoy. It is truly my Garden of Eden.

After researching several companies, Tom was one out of three professionals that we received a design and quote from. Because of his past experience, we chose him, also, because of his professionalism but primarily because he seemed to be quite the specialist where other quotes in which we got, certainly did installations but we did not feel they got qualified training. I had a pond with a waterfall installed in July 2012 by another contractor. By April 2013 it was apparent that a leak had developed, as the water level in the pond was dropping several inches in 12 hours. I contacted the installer, who set up, and then missed, three service appointments. After that, he stopped returning my calls. I called Tom at Acorn. He came out and determined that the waterfall was probably the culprit. He then disassembled the waterfall (a very messy project), found the problem and fixed it. No more leak... read more
