I've been to the Lakewood Ranch store quite a few times during the year since I've moved to Lakewood Ranch. The location is convenient and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. I appreciate that they carry Stihl power equipment and have purchased a pole saw from them. However, their hardware selection is very limited and what they do have is overpriced. I had a terrible experience at this store. I went in to look for chalk paint. My husband located two men who appeared to work in the paint dept and asked if they had any. They pointed in the direction of the paint. As I was choosing the color I wanted, the two men came and stood three feet behind me and started loudly discussing some very incinderary political viewpoints. I have been shopping at various Ace Hardware Stores for many many years. In the past all Ace Stores would honor veterans with a 10% discount. When I shopped at Crowder Bros the cashier was very apologetic in saying many customers ask but the owners do not honor veterans. I returned to the shelf the paint I was going to buy. I now only use Ace as an emergency local stop instead of going to Lowe's, Home Depot, Benjamin Moore. Etc.
Always a great experience at Crowder's! The staff is always friendly and super helpful.
Crowder Bros. is my go to place for things from the big green egg to light bulbs. I always get exceptional service and am always treated like family. The rewards program is great and with the money you can earn on purchases it makes going to a big box store not such a great value after all. Thanks Crowders for always delivering top notch service and expertise.
I've never had a bad experience at Crowders. Love Crowder Brothers!
