Over priced as heck on everything but had been my go to place for the last five years for EVERYTHING since it was close to the property I own in Wichita, not worth the headache.... literally.... the owner has deprived themself of too much oxygen via covid constituion reconstruction mandates.
This store has more assistants on the floor than any other hardware store in town. They've been in business since the early 50's and specialize in personal service. Their clientele is loyal.

This store is the best hardware store I have been to. The employees are so nice and very helpful. They knew exactly what I needed and knew exactly where to find it. They are a great store and the owner is one of the nicest men that I have ever met, his name is Jim Williams. One other really excellent thing that I found out about the store is that it was previously owned by Jim's father. So, it has been family owned since 1958 and that is hard to find now a days. Way to go Williams Ace Hardware I will forever be a customer.
