I was happy to get transferred to Optum Rx because this is one of the lower end pharmacy companies…I get monthly prescriptions sent out & i kid you every other month their was an issue…insurance, delays, updates, & lets not forget they wont even notify you if anything CHANGES you have to call to then be informed that the medication you desperately need is going to be late, switched over, or not delivered at all…after they told you it shipped…smh
The absolute worst speciality pharmacy experience possible. I am on medication for a life threatening illness and am on my third dose through Accredo and every single dose has been delayed, had billing issues and required MULTIPLE phone calls to several different departments to get done. I contact my insurance company constantly BEGGING them to allow me to fill my prescriptions with another pharmacy. If you have a choice, DO NOT use Accredo.
Been 8 months and they still do not have my mother's insurance properly added. When you call they say they will call back, no one ever calls back. My mom has been out of her medication for three days now and no one is calling back. I will yet again call and talk to a supervisor. I am so tired of waiting on hold with these people.
Accredo is the WORST. I have been on specialty medication for more than a decade and I have never had problems with getting my medication. Until I was forced into using Accredo by my insurance company (Priority Health). I have been trying to get my med for 8 WEEKS now and still no resolution. Customer service agents and "leadership" agents all just give the runaround. They tell you what you want to hear just to get you off the phone and then nothing happens. Worse pharmacy ever. Avoid it if you can. They should be banned to do business. They are lied and told different things on different calls.
