I'm here for a conference and the best part of my trip was eating here! The meal was amazing and the bread pudding for dessert was even better. I've already made reservations for dinner tomorrow.
If come you come here don't go to the bar for happy hour!!!! The bartender is super impersonal and rolled his eyes at us the entire time we were there. We had to beg for drink and service and when we did he rolled his eyes!!! I'm sorry but why call it happy hour if you can't be happy!!!! Don't come here!
They accommodated a short curtain time for us and everything was excellent!
One of my favorite DC restaurants. Food and service are usually impeccable. Only giving 4 stars because of uneven service in the bar area. During my Fat Tuesday visit, the bar manager made our first Sazerac and clearly knew what he was doing (pouring the beverage oh so slowly over the ice so that it was melted leaving a nicely balanced drink). Although the food, service, & live jazz at our brunch were all very good on 31 Jan. 2016, the parking situation & valet service left a very bad impression on us. We had originally planned to park at a meter on the street or in a nearby parking lot; however, after driving around for about a 1/2 hour and finding nothing, we decided to bite the bullet and pay for the restaurant's valet service ($10).
