We had an exemplary meal for a Sunday night. Watermelon salad, fried green tomatoes, oyster!, and especially the veal and grits! Acadiana is an old favorite, but still shines as brightly. Thank you for our best meal on this DC trip.
I had the duck it was delicious! My fiancee mother had the gumbo and she loved it. The decor was great.
I took my gf, a New Orleans native, here for her birthday in 2014 and we loved it! They recognized her special day with a personalized menu and incredible dessert. As for myself, a strict vegetarian, they went out of their way to make sure I had an outstanding "Seasonal Six" plate of vegetable dishes. Very impressed.
Wow! Excellent service and amazing food!!! Brunch here every Sunday wouldn't be such a bad idea if there were beds in the back! Had the Sweet Corn and Blue Crab Soup, Shrimp and Grits and Orange Ricotta Bread Pudding!
One of my favorite DC restaurants, for Sunday brunch. Good service, delicious food and lovely live jazz. The only down side and very disappointing is the parking situation and valet parking. However, not a huge deterrent to keep me from coming back!
