I would have given 5 stars because the staff, facility, and food were great, but the doctors and case worker dropped the ball. I was sick and had trouble sleeping from the time I got there. After being there 3 days, I found out that I wasnt being given my twice a day acid reflux medication, this caused me to get physically sick every single time I ate. Oh where to start. I guess with the number of doctors overseeing my case since they are “on rotation.” I was unable to properly get a game plan together for myself because they had 6 different doctors or PAs recommending a variety of treatments for me. The treatments included feeding me a plethora of medications that did not make sense in treating me for my illnesses. The treatments included giving me gabapentin (a nerve pain blocker) when I in fact did not have nerve pain. They wanted to dope me up to make me complacent. Av... read more
A better experience than most wards I've been to. Some of the people who run groups are absolute quacks. They say so many promising things in their stack of papers they give you, but none of that ever happens. Serenity is a nice unit but some of the nurses are full of themselves and need more training. As do some of the cafeteria staff
Waiting to pick up someone is horrible, no one knows you when you sit in a waiting room.
