Went in looking for a gas grill. Saw several outside that I liked. After talking with the salesman, I made the purchase but couldn't pick it up that day. No problem, Stephen, one of the managers said that he'd put together a new one that would be clean and pollen free :-) very satisfied and looking forward to picking it up tomorrow.
Customer service here is a joke. Not only were the shoes we needed mismarked by $20 on the price, but there was ONE SALES ASSOCIATE at the checkout counter (and likely in the whole building from what I could tell) and 10 people in line. She paged someone in footwear to check the price and they never came. We ended up not getting the shoes and I mentioned this was horrible service. I will never shop academy again . I ordered my autistic granddaughter lavender roller skates for her birthday online . the first pair didnt come until after her birthday the second pair show up wrong color . took them back reorder again . still show up wrong color . now academy tells me they dont carry them . after about 10 phone calls & three reorders u dont carry them . are u kinding me. & I find out u cant cancel a online order u have ti take it back to the store . Poor customer service . All they want is ur money they do... read more
Gave my 16 year old son money to pay for honing oil for his knife sharpener and would not sell to him ! No sign stating age ! 2 lines and 40 minutes later ! Crock of shit !
