RecommendedI came today (1115am) just to get a few things that were.required for my daughters volleyball coming up. First time sports mom, I had no idea what I was trying to find. I first ran into Liz, who was incredibly helpful. She was polite and didn't make me feel clueless showed me exactly where to find what I needed. Tonight I was harassed by the racist Officer C. Gross & was accused of stealing right after he viewed me making a purchase. He asked me for identification, to search me & detained me, I refused & asked him if he ask every customer to perform the things he asked of me & he stated NO!!! He stated it was policy of Academy but I was racially profiled & stopped because I AM A BLACK WOMAN!!!! Full video of harassment is on my page Shunoa Jacks Bell

You people suck. You really do. I ordered this AM to pickup a weight set the website said you have in stock. Now, after 2pm you send me a text saying tough luck buddy.So I call your store, well, attempt to call your store and for over 40 minutes I am unable to reach a single person there. SMH. You people don't want my money? Good, I promise you that you'll never get another dime of my money.
I do recommend this Academy Sports store. Although, the store associates should be wearing masks and gloves for customer protection and theirs. If the management is not allowing this, it is WRONG and I will never shop at this store again! Sales should never be put before the saftey of their employees and customers!!

This is my second time to shop at this location in the last week. Twice I have stood in line and watched as half a dozen employees in blue shirts just stood around doing nothing. While we waited to be checked out in a line that was eight people deep. In the future, I will avoid this location. In the time I stood in line, I could have ordered off of Amazon numerous times and received products the next day.
Not a bad place to shop but don’t buy anything unless you want die of old age waiting in line to pay for it.
