It's been a good bank and service has been good for several years now. Yes, there's been a bump or two but overall, it's better than any bank we've used before!
WORST SERVICE EVER. I have been a customer nearly 8 years. Academy Bank Grossly Mishandled my money, they have Rude tellers, and when I filed a complaint they retaliated by closing my account without notification or authorization. Disputing currently, but doubt a resolution considering they refuse to return calls or complaints or take ownership of misdeeds.
Wish I could give zero stars worst customer service I've ever had for an overdraft fee . Went to the bank to put a hold on the payment they had me call an 800 number that wasn't working that day so the charge goes thru then the next day I have it refunded but yet they can't waive the overdraft fee what a fucking joke of a financial institution.
This is the worst back I have ever been with !!! The constantly steal my money and change me overdraft fees ! I later have to pay . The WORST experience I have EVER had with a bank!
This bank has gone done hill bad. I make alot of online purchases and they just blocked my card for possible fraud. I called and verified it was me making the purchase and they said they can only unblock it for 24 hours. Even companies i have bought from in the past are blocked. When you call they try and put the blame on some other company. My wifes xard is not blocked only mine. I filed a complaint with the BBB and the FDIC. This is stright BS.
We used to love to go to our local branch because they knew us by name because we had banked there for years, but now we are going to open an account at another hank & faze this one out because we are tired of their corporate office! I had to open a small business account because I’m self employed & I wrote a check to our personal account & they want to hold it for 1 week! I’ve been a customer for over five years and you put a hold on a check from a mortgage company?! Their bank absolutely will pay the check long before your nine day hold is up! To add insult to injury, the nine days don’t start until Tuesday!
