Visit went smoothly
It was an consultation
First time meeting this dr. No time for questions. Just wanted to hear himself speak. No interest in hearing anything.
Great visit with Dr. Patil. He listened to my questions and answered them with care.
Seems like a nice guy, but does not know much about IBD. Saw him twice (2nd time just saw the nurse), and got very little information- they just wanted to put me on a biologic immediately, without discussing myriad other options or tests. Unimpressive, and the waiting area was cramped and oppressive. Plus, they wanted payment upfront. Not a great choice if you have active Crohn's or UC.
My first colonoscopy failed. The doctor was not able to put the scope up in the intestine due to scar tissue from a hysterectomy in 2013. Also, my colonguard result was positive for colon cancer. Dr. Patil was able to perform the colonoscopy and report that I did not have colon cancer. It was a false positive. Thank you!!!!!
FU from a previous visit. To continue or not on meds.
I liked my Doctor and would recommend him to everyone who needs a colonoscopy.
