I saw him once, 6 months ago, haven't been able to reach him since, his office doesn't return phone calls, and yet they have emailed me and left 4 voicemails with me in the past few days to remind me of today's appointment

Dr. Abed and his PA are fine. However, because the front desk staff are always horrific to work with, I'd tell my friends and family to choose this place ONLY if there are no other options. Front desk is pretty unfriendly and INCREDIBLY disorganized. Anytime you need information sent to you, other doctors, or pharmacies, you have to KEEP calling the office back to make sure it was sent in. I've gone days, sometimes weeks, waiting to hear back on something that they were "still working on".

This dr is the only endo in so ill. Sadly this dr had one job in our case. He failed and that then pawned us of on his PA. Leaving us with a life threatening issue that could have easily been caught but choose not to do anything about the issue when it first arose. I do not recommend this dr. He did not do his job at all. It literally was a situation where he had one job to do and did not do it. Also most of the staff are not very nice to deal with even asking for a simple task.

I didn't have a problem with this office until today. I had an appointment and after driving four towns over the rude woman at the desk said we had never been been scheduled. So I asked her if they entered the appointment elsewhere by mistake. She rudely told us no and that she didn't work there then so she can't do anything. No apology and trying to figure out what happened nothing. Meanwhile I have the appointment card in my hand.

Dr. Abedmahmoud is an exceptionally intellectual endocrinologist, but his staff is terrible. No complaint, request, or any inquisition ever makes its way through the grapevine to his ears unless you treat the lady answering your call like an insensitive legalist. Calls go straight to voicemail during business hours, documents are lost and never sent or filed as they should be, and prescriptions are often not called in until 2 or 3 days too late.
