Great restaurant! – I work in the Back Bay so I eat lunch here often, and I would say it's the best lunch in the Back Bay. Much cheaper prices than dinner, so yes you can afford it. Amazing Steak and Tomato salad is under $16. Fantastic chicken mushroom spinach entree as well, which is only $11. All lunch entrees come with great bread as well. Try the french fries- best I've ever had. Crispy brown on the outside and soft on the inside!
Moooo! – Great classy steak joint. Very elegant. Delicious, juicy steak--not at all fatty. Cooked to your perfection. Very romantic.
Not bad at all – This place is always busy so go if you like a crowd. The food is consistent and good as is the wine list. The service can be a bit rough especially in the bar area. Also, cleanliness may not be a top priority for this place but you got to hand it to them - they are ALWAYS busy -- GOLD MINE!!
Screamers Obviously Welcome (SOW) – This is where people go to scream at each other. Literally...the place is so noisy that people were screaming at each other. After 10 minutes I needed an aspirin, after 30 minutes I wanted to go home. Four hours later, my mouth was so dry, I felt that all the water had been drained out of my body. my favorite! – I love this darn place.... The food is great - always.... The crowd is fun...good conversation, good people-watching.... And, the bar area is always hopping - IF you can even get a spot in there. Get there early!
Best steakhouse in Boston! – My boyfriend and I are regulars and are always impressed by the wonderful service. We have a favorite waiter who defines the word spectacular. The food is absolutely fabulous. Our favorites are the seared ahi appetizer, grilled lamb chops, filet mignon au poivre, blue cheese mashed potatoes and the chocolate souffle with raspberry sauce. The wine list is good and the sommalier very knowledgeable. For a great restaurant experience, come to Abe and Louie's!
