Last year I brought my adult daughter to your clinic with her pet rat that was 4 years old. (about twice as old as the average) She knew it was time to be put to sleep. I know many of you reading this will think "it's just a rat" NO it was her pet she loved him dearly. The people in the clinic were so compassionate with her and her little friend. I was touched by their kindness. These people love animal, ALL animals and it shows.
Adopted a kitty for christmas.. all the animals are well cared for and that staff are very friendly and helpful...... they didn't mind that my daughter and I were there for three hours trying to find the perfect pet �
We have adopted our three cats from the Humane Society and they are all happy, healthy and thriving. My daughter and I were there yesterday to drip off a donation of cat food and then stayed to see the cats and dogs. It is so clear how well cared for all the animals are. And it's wonderful to see all the volunteers hanging out with the animals and talking to visitors. If you are looking for a pet to join your family, I would highly recommend adopting here.
I have been loyal customer of The Humane Society, however their volume has grown so much in the past years that they are unable to manage it timely. They always push for appointments and they promise a faster service but truth is WITH OR WITHOUT appointment there is always a wait time of 2-4 hours for a regular check up. That proves their current system does not work I would suggest hiring more vets or just do something if volume is so large. I know this is a budget-friendly clinic. Just read a story about a family who adopted a pitbull from this place and the pit bull had a previous home with a veteran who is desperately trying to get his dog back. The shelter claims they can do nothing about it and the family who adopted the dog refused to give the dog back to its proper and rightful owner. On the grounds that the dog had a previous owner the adoption should be rendered invalid and the family should be FORCED to return the dog or law enforcement involvement. Your response to the army veteran whose dog was adopted while he is deployed, is shameful. I hope the community sees the story on the news and realize that changes in leadership is critical.
