Had hip replacement, minimal pain, Dr & team very thorough, up & walking no problem now 3 weeks out & good as new. Care Partners was home health agency Kristine & Ashley we’re both amazing also...the whole process from beginning to post op with Dr Abbott & staff has been wonderful
4 visits - never saw the doctor - when I called for a prescription for Motrin a week after the final injection, I was told to take over the counter medication.
What a joke. Tells me nothing is wrong with my knee even though I can’t walk. The pain has been getting progessivly worse through the last 6 months. Then I wait to get an MRI and have to wait another 10 days for him to go over the results. I couldn’t wait that long as I was running out of sick days at work and needed fixed. Dr. Paul Sauluan from the Cleveland Clinic was kind enough to see me before 10 days. He did surgery the next day due to severity. Dr. Abbots office said knee was fine

Rushed......Sometimes a patient needs eye contact for a minute.As a the mom of the patient, I felt like he needed to slow down for a moment.
As soon as I met Dr Abbott, I knew there was no reason to go to Columbus for my knee replacement surgery like so many others do. I sensed the best treatment was right here in Wheeling. During every phase of rehab, the PT told me I was way ahead of where I should be. In PT sessions I met other people who had Dr Abbott perform the same surgery on them, with the same results. If you're even considering leaving town for your surgery, don't. Stay at home where you'll be in the best hands possible.
Dr. Abbott is so thorough and always so careful and caring with his patients. Wonderful bedside manner. Immaculate skills and so much knowledge.
Had my knee scoped. Did a great job on it. Pain is minimal compared to what it was.
